Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to drive design and implementation of software systems that control, monitor, and manage star tracker flight hardware, including real-time device control, remote management, Linux integration, software build systems and release validation testing.

You will join the OISL Star Tracker team and collaborate with hardware, systems, manufacturing, and operations engineers to deliver high-reliability satellite

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
• Proficiency in C and/or C++ for deterministic embedded systems.
• Experience with Linux-based development, cross-compilation, and test frameworks.
• Python for test automation or tooling in embedded development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize flight software for Star Tracker systems in Linux environments.
• Architect and implement fault-tolerant software with autonomous recovery and health monitoring.
• Build and maintain hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop test infrastructures.
