Job summary

Reliable Robotics is seeking a Flight Software Engineer to develop highly deterministic C++ software for a bare metal platform, interfacing with sensors, control systems, and aircraft subsystems. You will drive requirements, implement robust unit tests, and work directly with flight hardware in the lab and during test flights.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of professional C/C++ experience, background in high-performance embedded or safety-critical software, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years professional programming experience in C or C++
• Professional experience developing software for high performance embedded or safety critical applications

Responsibilities

• Develop highly deterministic C++ software in a bare metal environment with sensors & control systems
• Robustly handle faults and integrate with other vehicle subsystems
• Drive requirements and implement excellent unit tests
• Work directly with flight hardware in the lab and on the plane, plan flight testing
