Blue Origin is seeking an experienced software engineer to contribute to the New Glenn avionics and flight software ecosystem. You will design, implement, test and integrate real-time embedded software for vehicle and ground systems, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet stringent safety and reliability goals.

The role emphasizes high-assurance software, kernel-level concepts, and hardware interfaces, with relocation assistance for eligible sites.

Qualifications

• BS in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience writing software in C, C++, and Python.
• Solid understanding of embedded software, kernel development, BSPs or other systems software components.
• Good understanding of operating systems and network protocols fundamentals.

Responsabilités

• Develop flight software and tools for spaceflight systems.
• Share in the team's impact on safety-critical real-time embedded software development.
• Work on vehicle avionics and ground systems; responsible for requirements, design, implementation, integration and testing of software components and tools.
