Job summary

CAE’s Civil Training and Services division in Orlando, FL operates a Technical Services team focused on maintaining multiple CAE and non-CAE flight simulators. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting at component and system levels, and assisting with refurbishment projects.

The position requires an associate degree or equivalent training, 2+ years of simulator experience or 4+ years in related electronics and repair, reading schematics, and proficiency with diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

Associate degree (2-year technical degree) or equivalent related technical training.
2 years of direct simulator experience or 4 years in related electronics/avionics/automation.
Experience reading and using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Experience operating electronic test equipment and soldering/circuit repair.
Basic knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office; customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on flight simulators and related systems.
Diagnose and resolve routine issues affecting simulators.
Assist in diagnosing and resolving complex simulator issues.
Train technicians in foundational technical skills.
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards; assist with refurbishment projects.
