Job summary

Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) designs and builds flight training devices for the US Military. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and document software for flight simulators, working across Linux and Windows environments using C/C++, C#, and scripting languages.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, debugging, and integrating software with hardware. Candidates should have a BS in a software-related field and be eligible for security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a software-related field is required.
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or C# and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with Git or SVN version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and document software for flight simulation control.
• Utilize C/C++ and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) in Linux/Windows environments.
• Read, write, and maintain software while adhering to processes.
• Collaborate with project teams and engineers to deliver functionality.
• Support systems engineering through software/hardware integration.
