Job summary

Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Flight Dynamics Engineer to develop and validate physics-based aircraft models for high-fidelity flight simulators.

You will evaluate aerodynamics, propulsion, and equations of motion, and implement models across Linux/Windows environments to ensure simulator fidelity and compliance with required standards. Mid-to-senior level candidates will lead fidelity tests, collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers while advancing

Qualifications

• Knowledge of aerodynamics, aircraft dynamics, and propulsion.
• Experience in physics-based modeling of aircraft behavior.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and software development for flight simulation.
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
• Ability to analyze engineering data and support model validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and validate flight dynamics models and simulation software.
• Analyze flight performance data and tune models to meet requirements.
• Execute fidelity tests and validation against aircraft data and QTGs.
• Collaborate across disciplines to resolve simulation issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
