Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineer Aeronautical / Principal Engineer Aeronautical – Flight Sciences Integration to support the Flight Sciences discipline within the Vehicle Engineering CoTE. The role involves developing processes, training, and tools to advance technical excellence across the sector.

The candidate will collaborate with discipline leads, drive continuous improvement, and enable digital design initiatives while adhering to program goals and compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree and related engineering experience.
• Experience with Flight Sciences and related disciplines in an IPT environment.
• Active DoD secret or higher clearance and eligibility for Top Secret/SCI.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25% and work with dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic vision and technical priorities for the Flight Sciences discipline.
• Develop processes, tools, and training to elevate technical excellence.
• Collaborate with VE CoTE and Flight Sciences DPTO to deliver capabilities.
• Contribute to PrOP, PAL manuals, and Nimbus Process Models for compliance.
