Kitty Hawk Kites, Inc is seeking a Flight School Manager to oversee daily operations, training programs, and profitability across Jockey’s Ridge and remote sites. You’ll lead instructors, manage scheduling, payroll, and policy implementation while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires coordinating across multiple locations, developing growth strategies, and maintaining relationships with park staff and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience; strong leadership and operations background.
• Experience with training programs, scheduling, payroll, and budgeting preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with park staff, pilots, and partner operators.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily flight school operations and staff performance.
• Develop and execute training programs and marketing plans.
• Maintain equipment and maintenance logs; ensure safety compliance.
• Manage hiring, training, firing and performance reviews.
• Develop pricing, sales forecasts and department budgets.
• Coordinate with outlying locations for seamless program delivery.
• Close out daily financials and deposits; ensure proper documentation.
