Job summary

Robinson Helicopter Company seeks a Site Manager to lead on-site customer success operations for the U.S. Army FSN program at Fort Rucker, AL. Initial 6 months at Torrance, CA; travel up to 75% during ramp; reports to VP, Customer Success, supervises a small field team to ensure fleet readiness and parts flow.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of leadership in aviation/defense, with A&P preferred and strong MS Office/Jira/ERP skills. U.S. citizenship and passport are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation, engineering, business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of site, maintenance, or operations management experience, preferably in aviation or defense.
  • Experience leading technical and logistics personnel and managing on-site teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day site operations for Flight School Next at Fort Rucker; ensure aircraft readiness.
  • Directly supervise on-site Technical Support Representative and Fleet Sustainment & Spares Coordinator.
  • Coordinate workload across maintenance-support and parts-coordination functions; manage schedules.
  • Serve as primary escalation point for AOG events, technical issues, and supply shortfalls.
  • Prepare site status reports, readiness updates, and customer briefings.
