Job summary

HCA HealthONE AirLife Critical Care Denver is seeking an experienced RN Flight Nurse to deliver specialized neonatal and pediatric transport care across air and ground modalities. You will work autonomously and with a care team to assess, treat, and document patient conditions during interfacility transfers.

The role requires a Colorado RN license with multi-state designation, BSN, and 3+ years in a Level IV NICU, plus active certifications (BLS, PALS, NRP) and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Colorado Registered Nursing license with a multi-state compact designation.
• BLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
• C-NPT certification - preferred at hire; required within 2 years.
• Current and unrestricted driver's license.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• 3+ years experience in a Level IV NICU; transport experience.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously and collaboratively deliver critical and specialty care to neonatal patients aboard fixed-wing aircraft, rotor wing aircraft, and ground ambulance.
• Coordinate, deliver, and document all aspects of patient care with referral teams, physicians, AirLife team members, patients, and families.
• Adhere to established standards of care and scope of practice while adhering to AirLife safety commitments.
• Maintain proficiency in flight physiology, aircraft operations, and emergency procedures.
