GE Aerospace in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to oversee scope, cost, and schedule for Flight Recorders development, ensuring targets are met within a product line framework.

The role requires 10+ years of engineering and PM experience, U.S. citizenship, and a hybrid in-office schedule (Tues–Thu). An extensive relocation package is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience (Including project management or Program Management).
• This position requires U.S. citizenship status.

Responsibilities

• Development of various technologies through increasing levels of maturity.
• Forming project teams.
• Develop integrated schedules with cost and staffing demand.
• Author Statements of Work for supplier work (as needed).
• Lead Engineering content for gate reviews (Tollgates).
• Participate in fact-find meetings with customers.
• Support / lead various management meetings and report up to Senior / Executive leadership.
• Support / lead meetings with customers.
• Develop / revise engineering project plans.
• Manage scope, schedule, and cost changes within the project.
• Monitor and report project performance, including key metrics and variances.
• Develop and execute risk management plans.
• Assist in mentoring junior EPMs.
• Demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes.
