Abby’s Catering in Houston, TX is seeking a Customer Order Coordinator to ensure every order is assembled, packaged, verified, and dispatched to our quality standards. In a fast-paced aviation catering environment, you are the critical link between production, logistics, and delivery, ensuring each flight departs with a complete, accurate order.

Competenze

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Texas Food Handler Certificate (required, or ability to obtain before employment)
• Experience in food service, catering, warehouse, hospitality, or logistics (preferred; 2+ years ideal)
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Mansioni

• Assemble and package orders according to production tickets and client specifications
• Verify every order for completeness, presentation, labeling, and accuracy before release
• Inspect packaging to make sure products are protected and presentation standards are met
• Coordinate with production teams to confirm items are available and prepared on schedule
• Monitor flight departure times and prioritize orders accordingly
• Immediately report shortages, substitutions, discrepancies, or quality concerns to leadership
• Help load and stage orders for delivery
• Safely operate company vehicles to transport customer orders when assigned
• Track packaging inventory and alert leadership to low stock
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
• Follow all HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and company food safety procedures
• Support other departments during high-volume periods
• Perform other duties as assigned
