Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer for its Fury program near Columbus, Ohio. You will own the testing lifecycle on the production line, write ATPs, and verify flight-readiness and sensor performance before aircraft shipping.

You will train technicians, troubleshoot avionics, and drive continuous improvement to scale production throughput while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a production test environment with aircraft/UAV/aerospace systems.
• Proven hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, system-level ATPs, and avionics checkouts on production lines.
• Familiarity with aircraft comms protocols (CAN, Ethernet, RS-232/485) and standard test equipment.
• Experience with PLM and MES to manage test configurations and documentation.
• Excellent technical writing skills and ability to translate requirements into clear instructions.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Author ATPs and test plans to verify safety-of-flight systems on Fury.
• Lead hands-on aircraft testing, including power-on tests and avionics checks.
• Troubleshoot electrical, communication, and mechanical failures on the line.
• Train and certify technicians; enable on-floor testing and data logging in MES.
• Analyze test data and cycle times to reduce duration while preserving quality.
• Collaborate with Flight Test, Quality, and Design Engineering to feed back into design.
