Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to own the aircraft testing lifecycle on the Fury production line. You will write and execute ATPs, perform comprehensive avionics checkouts, and train technicians on test procedures and GSE, logging results in MES.

You will collaborate with Flight Test, Quality, and Design Engineering to optimize ATPs and test scripts, reducing cycle time while ensuring safety and quality on high‑end aerospace systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in a production test environment with aircraft/UAV/aerospace system-level testing.
• Experience writing and executing hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, system-level ATPs, and avionics functional checkouts on a production line.
• Familiarity with aircraft communication protocols (CAN bus, Ethernet, RS-232/485) and standard electronics test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers).
• Comfortable utilizing PLM and MES to manage test configurations and documentation.
• Excellent technical writing skills with a proven ability to translate complex requirements into clear technician instructions.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Author Test Procedures: write, validate, and maintain ATPs and test plans to verify safety-of-flight systems on Fury aircraft.
• Execute Aircraft Testing: perform system-level checkouts including power-on testing and avionics testing.
• Troubleshoot Flight Hardware: diagnose electrical, comms, and mechanical failures; implement corrective actions.
• Technician Training: train and support technicians on test procedures and GSE; log results in MES.
• Continuous Improvement: analyze test data and cycle times to reduce duration while maintaining quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with Flight Test, Quality, and Design Engineering to feed data back into design.
