Job summary

Amazon Leo Aerospace Hardware Engineer is sought to design, analyze, build, and test hardware for satellite applications. You will develop hardware from concept through qualification, coordinating with multiple engineering teams to enable flight-qualified hardware for thousands of satellites.

Responsibilities include automated test execution, data-driven insights, and leading test campaigns. A Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering is required, with Master’s preferred; experience

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering or related field.
Master's degree preferred in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering or related field.
Experience with hardware design, test plan development and test benches.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and validate hardware components, assemblies, and software solutions for flight-ready hardware.
Develop closed-loop control algorithms leveraging sensors, MCUs, and custom silicon.
Implement hardware design strategies to mitigate risks for stakeholders.
Collaborate with avionics, payload, radiation, power, mechanical, thermal, RF, and software teams for hardware integration.
Lead bring-up and qualification test campaigns and ensure flight-qualified hardware.
