Job summary

CisLunar Industries is seeking a Senior PCB Layout Engineer / ECAD Librarian to own board layout discipline, library quality, and release readiness for flight power electronics hardware.

You will work hands-on to translate power electronics designs into buildable, inspectable hardware packages, reviewing layouts against circuit intent, manufacturing constraints, and IPC/J-STD standards. Remote work is hybrid with onsite design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years in board-level electrical design, PCB layout, or high-reliability electronics development.
• Experience reviewing or creating PCB layouts for manufacturable hardware.
• Familiarity with IPC and J-STD expectations in real design, assembly and rework.
• Ability to review layouts against circuit intent and manufacturing constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own board-level design release discipline for PPU and flight power electronics.
• Review PCB layouts for manufacturability, assembly, inspection, clearance, and high-voltage concerns.
• Translate converter designs into buildable, inspectable PCB layouts with engineers.
• Support layout decisions for power stages, control boards, sensing, and connectors.
• Own ECAD library discipline, including symbols, footprints, and metadata.
• Maintain or improve schematic and PCB layout review checklists.
• Review manufacturing packages, Gerbers, drill files, and vendor feedback.
• Support design changes, ECOs, and rework instructions.
• Bridge R&D designs into controlled build packages for prototype and flight hardware.
