Job summary

Lunar Energy, based in Mountain View, CA, seeks a motivated PCB layout designer to design next‑gen boards for home energy storage systems. You will own full board layouts, create library parts, and collaborate with a cross‑functional team from concept to production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PCB design experience.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and communication.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer and high‑speed/ high‑voltage layout.
• Knowledge of IPC specifications for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Designing and laying out a mix of PCB types (thru-hole, SMT, mixed signals).
• Layout high-speed, high‑voltage, and high‑power PCBs.
• Collaborate with EEs and MEs for optimal part placement.
• Generate manufacturing outputs (Gerbers, BOM, stackups, assembly docs).
• Create library footprints and schematic symbols.
