Job summary

Lunar Energy, Inc. is seeking a motivated PCB layout designer to design next‑gen boards for all Lunar products. The role covers full board layouts and library part creation, collaborating with a cross‑functional team from concept to high‑volume production of home energy storage systems.

The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on experience with simulation and hardware, and a passion for sustainable energy. You will contribute to a fast‑growing company building clean energy products globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of circuit board design experience.
• Cross-functional teamwork to meet design requirements and solve hardware, SI/PI, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing issues.
• Knowledge of IPC specifications to enable manufacturability for fabrication and assembly processes.
• Experience with power supply and switching regulator layouts.
• Ability to drive projects to timely, qualified designs.

Responsibilities

• Designing and laying out a mixture of technology boards (thru-hole, SMT, mixed signals).
• Laying out high-speed, high-voltage, and high-power PCBs.
• Collaborating with EEs and MEs for optimal part placement.
• Generating output files for manufacturing (Gerbers, BOMs, stack-up, assembly docs).
• Creating libraries (footprints and schematic symbols).
