Job summary

Priceline is seeking a Senior Director of Flights Engineering to lead the teams powering Priceline’s Flight Shopping Platform. This role reports to the technology leadership and shapes the architectural direction while balancing delivery velocity with technical excellence in a hybrid work model.

You will scale delivery, mentor leaders, collaborate with Product and cross-functional partners, and drive AI/agentic engineering practices to accelerate shopping experience improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and development.
• 5+ years experience in leading software development teams.
• Experience managing a mix of managers and senior ICs across 20+ staff.
• Experience operating across global, cross-functional teams.
• Experience with developing on Cloud, especially GCP and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development teams powering Priceline’s Flight Shopping Platform.
• Scale delivery and cross-functional execution through teams.
• Drive technology strategy, architecture decisions across the flights domain.
• Lead adoption of AI/agentic engineering practices to accelerate innovation.
• Own multi-team roadmap and partner with Product Group Engineering leads and stakeholders.
• Coach managers and engineers across levels of experience.
• Influence what we build, how we build, and how we work.
