Air Evac Lifeteam in Prestonsburg, KY is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join a team of air-transport professionals delivering high-quality patient care during transport and on-scene operations.

The role requires 3+ years in 911/critical care, EMT-P licensure, and multiple certifications; FP-C within 24 months is required, with possible NREMT-P in some areas. Competitive hourly pay starts at $21.32 plus a $5 area stipend and DOE. Full benefits accompany the role.

Qualificações

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilidades

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge and routine maintenance of equipment and supplies used by the program.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals and the public.
• Function as a medical flight team member.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings and complete necessary documentation.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists and pilot tasks as needed.
• Comply with safety standards for crew, patients and equipment.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
• Fill open or vacant shifts within assigned area as directed by the Regional Director.
