Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Carrizo Springs, TX is hiring a Flight Paramedic to transport patients to and from medical facilities and respond to scene calls. You will provide advanced life support and maintain rigorous documentation on every mission.

The role requires a minimum of three years in 911/critical care, EMT-P licensure in the served states, and FP-C within 24 months of hire. FP-C and other certifications highly valued for flight status readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within required time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff to receiving facility.
• Maintain documentation of licensure, certifications, CEU, safety, and procedures in the Education Manual.
• Ensure aircraft safety checks and assist in liftoff and mission briefings as needed.
