Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Paoli, IN is actively hiring a Flight Paramedic to join our air transportation team. You will perform advanced life support, complete electronic patient care documentation, and support pre-mission and in-flight operations from the base. Shift coverage and safety compliance are essential.

The role requires 3+ years in 911/critical care, EMT-P certification in the area, and FP-C within 24 months. A strong emphasis on teamwork and safety pervades our operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submission of electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care until handoff to receiving facility.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures documentation.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings; assist with liftoff checklists and pilot duties as needed.
