Job summary

Pafford Emergency Medical Services is seeking a Flight Paramedic to provide autonomous, evidence-based critical care transport by rotor-wing aircraft and ground units.

The role requires current paramedic licensure, extensive ALS experience, and certifications in ACLS, PALS/PEPP, NRP, and FP-C/CCP-C. You will work within Air Med, supporting adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients across transport missions.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted paramedic license for assignment and transport.
• Minimum 3 years and 4,000 hours of ALS experience including critical care transport.
• BLS and ACLS credentials; PALS or PEPP for pediatric care as applicable.
• FP-C or CCP-C certification must be obtained within two years.

Responsibilities

• Review transport requests, assess patients, and develop individualized care plans.
• Stabilize and transport adult, pediatric, neonatal, obstetric, medical, and trauma patients by air and ground.
• Monitor patients, manage airways, ventilators, medications, and hemodynamics per scope of care.
• Coordinate with pilots, EMS teams, and receiving facilities; ensure proper handoffs and documentation.
