Job summary

Pafford Emergency Medical Services in Arkadelphia, AR is seeking a Flight Paramedic (Part-Time) to provide advanced critical care transport by rotor-wing or fixed-wing aircraft and ground ambulance as assigned. You will assess, treat, and transport diverse patients under medical direction and program scope.

The role requires licensure in required states, ALS experience, and current BLS/ACLS; pediatric credentials and FP-C/CCP-C within two years are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted paramedic license in each state required for assignment.
• At least three years and 4,000 hours ALS experience with critical care transport or high-acuity EMS.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS.
• Current PALS or PEPP credential for pediatric care.
• FP-C or CCP-C certification must be obtained within two years.

Responsibilities

• Review transport requests and develop an individualized plan of care.
• Stabilize and transport adult, pediatric, neonatal, obstetric, medical, and trauma patients.
• Monitor patient continuously and intervene if deterioration occurs.
• Coordinate with pilots and EMS teams to ensure safety and readiness.
• Maintain accurate patient care and equipment documentation.
