PHI Air Medical Group seeks an experienced flight paramedic to provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill or injured patients in pre‑hospital and inter‑facility transports. The role emphasizes specialized techniques, diagnostic skills, and thorough documentation in fast‑paced environments.

Requirements include active paramedic certification, 3–5 years of field experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS/PEPP and PHTLS/ITLS (NRP preferred), and a commitment to ongoing education and competency.

Qualifications

• Active paramedic certification in the employment state.
• Minimum 3 years (5 preferred) Paramedic field experience in 911/pre-hospital service.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP and PHTLS/ITLS; NRP preferred.
• Instructor certifications preferred.
• FP‑C within 24 months of hire.
• Flight or transport experience preferred.
• Complete PHI Air Medical Group orientation program.

Responsabilités

• Performs specialized functions and complex assessments, diagnoses, therapies and emergency treatment.
• Documents information for assessment and treatment during stabilization and transport.
• Documents billing information of patient transports.
• Maintains communication between management and external customers.
• Participates in PR and marketing activities.
• Maintains knowledge base for flight paramedic role through meetings, reviews, labs, rotations, and education sessions.
• Completes all annual recurrent competency requirements.
• Maintains active paramedic certification and other required certifications.
