Job summary

PHI Air Medical, LLC is seeking a Flight Paramedic in Madison, IN to provide safe, advanced care during pre-hospital and inter-facility transports. You will operate under medical direction and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires active paramedic certification, 3+ years of field experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/PEPP; FP-C within 24 months is preferred. We offer competitive pay, a sign-on bonus, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Active paramedic certification in the state of employment.
• 3+ years (5 preferred) current Paramedic field experience in a busy 911/pre-hospital setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, and PHTLS/ITLS; NRP preferred; instructor certifications preferred.
• FP-C within 24 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-placement physical exam, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized assessments, diagnoses, therapies and emergency treatment during transport.
• Documents information for assessment, treatment and billing.
• Maintains effective communication between management, internal and external customers.
• Attends mandatory meetings, chart reviews, equipment reviews, skill labs and continuing education.
• Completes annual recurrent competency requirements.
