Job summary

Air Methods in Fort Mohave, AZ seeks a Flight Paramedic to provide 24/7 life-saving medical transport from a helicopter, delivering advanced life support and patient care while supporting the CBS Medical Director's guidelines.

The role requires 3+ years in busy 911 or flight settings, with on-call duties and a $8,000 sign-on bonus plus a $6,000 relocation/location stipend. Fort Mohave offers a dynamic, life-saving work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years' related experience or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in health-related field preferred
• Minimum three (3) years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support including assessment, triage and treatment according to Air Methods CBS Medical Director(s) and guidelines
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation and ensure safety during transport
• Attend pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings; assist pilot as needed
• Report equipment issues and maintain readiness of aircraft onboard supplies to ensure rapid response
• Follow safety standards and participate in ongoing training and education requirements
