Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Venice, FL is seeking a paramedic with 3+ years of recent 911 experience to join our clinical flight team delivering lifesaving care from the ground to the air.

You’ll operate in state-of-the-art helicopters, maintain required certifications, and participate in ongoing education to support safety and patient care during transport. Experience with neonatal/pediatric transport and on-call rotations is valuable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years’ related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support from first contact to handoff.
• Maintain patient care documentation and adhere to medical standards.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and assist with liftoff and mission debriefings.
• Ensure equipment is functional and supplies are stocked on aircraft.
• Participate in ongoing education and safety training programs.
