Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join our air transportation team, delivering high-quality, safe patient care on and off the aircraft. You will work within a professional crew to transport patients to medical facilities and perform scene call work with strong safety standards.

The position requires a minimum of three years in 911/critical care, EMT-P license, and FP-C within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting as a licensed Paramedic.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in states served; FP-C within 24 months.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certifications required prior to flight status.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the required timeframe.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count, and ensure equipment readiness.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff at receiving facility.
• Maintain competency through ongoing clinical experiences and documentation of licensure and continuing education.
• Attend pre-mission briefings/debriefings and assist with liftoff checklists and pilot support as needed.
