Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Flight Paramedic to work with our air transportation team. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care during flight and on-scene missions, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork across EMS and hospital partners.

Responsibilities include completing patient care records, base checks, and maintaining licensure and certifications while ensuring safety standards for crew and patients on each mission.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in 911 or critical care as a Paramedic.
• Licensed Paramedic with EMT-P certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight.
• Perform daily base checks including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency through ongoing labs and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures.
• Operate/maintain equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in pre/post mission briefings.
