DO & CO group in New York is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead transport, dispatch, dock, and ramp operations in a fast-paced, flight-sensitive setting. This hands-on leader coordinates drivers, dispatchers, guides, and fleet resources to ensure safety, efficiency, and on-time service.

The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, makes quick decisions, and maintains composure while driving staffing, overtime control, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across the operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in transportation, dispatch, logistics, or operations leadership.
• Bachelor's degree (preferred) in related field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in airport environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transportation, dispatch, dock, ramp, and logistics activities.
• Monitor flights in real time and take corrective action to prevent delays.
• Ensure dispatch entries are completed before departure.
• Lead shift briefings and communicate priorities and safety expectations.
• Plan, publish, and manage employee schedules with appropriate staffing.
• Monitor overtime, reduce unnecessary hours, and report trends.
• Supervise and develop drivers, dispatchers, and dock personnel.
• Maintain records for vehicle use, inspections, and flight activity.
• Ensure DOT, OSHA, TSA, and airport security compliance.
