• Southwest pilot responsibilities and FAA regulations knowledge.

• Capacity to identify opportunities for cost and operational improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sentiment and records to proactively identify areas of opportunity.
• Partner with crew leaders to set priorities for group initiatives.
• Collect best practices and trends across the enterprise and bring those insights to leaders.
• Collaborate with Inflight and other operational groups to promote alignment.
• Ensure feedback from piloting teams and Base Coordinators is captured and reflected throughout processes.
• Lead initiatives, build appropriate review mechanisms, and facilitate formal reviews.
• Document all processes and decisions associated with each assignment.
• Work with Flight Ops teams to roll out new tasks and projects.
• Assist in ongoing updates and changes to drive continuous improvement.
• Mitigate contractual, regulatory, and operational impacts of broad initiatives.
• Improve approaches and present standardizations to reduce transformation cycles and increase efficiency.
• Carry out additional process responsibilities as directed by leadership.
• Understanding of methodology and software improvement is beneficial but not required.
