Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking a Lead Flight Support Specialist to oversee the Dispatch Department within the Operations Control Center (OCC). You will lead Flight Support Specialists, ensure safe and efficient flight coordination, and handle high-demand periods with hands-on dispatch support.

You will interact with Sales, Flight Crews, Maintenance, and other teams, maintaining rigorous FAA and international regulatory compliance while using ForeFlight and flight planning tools to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate or Pilot Certificate required.
• At least 60 days of experience as a flyExclusive Licensed Flight Dispatcher or flyExclusive Dispatcher preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Knowledge of business jet performance.
• Strong prioritization and coordination skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with internal and external customers.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight and guidance to Flight Support Specialists to ensure efficient work.
• Plan and coordinate trips outside the 24-hour window to obtain missing trip details.
• Verify aircraft and flight crew availability and identify conflicts.
• Perform Flight Dispatcher duties as needed to maintain operational continuity.
• Coordinate with Sales, Dispatch, Flight Crews, Maintenance for trip execution.
• Review TSA passenger checks, NOTAMs, PPRs, airport slots, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain Dispatch pass-down communications across shifts.
