Job summary

Air Transport Services Group is seeking a Flight Operations Assistant to support the Flight Department with essential administrative tasks for the nightly DHL operations at CVG. The role involves reinforcing company policies to crewmembers, ensuring SOP compliance, and assisting in problem resolution for flight crews.

You will handle travel systems, update FAA/Jeppesen/ABX manuals, and manage bi-weekly transport of flight bags between ILN and CVG.

Qualifications

• Must have HSD/GED.
• Flight operations experience, pilot training or enrolled in a pilot training program.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Very good written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a group environment.
• Self-starter.
• Ability to adapt to fast paced atmosphere and changing priorities.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Flight Department with administrative duties for nightly DHL operations at CVG.
• Communicate and clarify company policies to crewmembers; ensure SOP compliance.
• Identify and resolve operational problems related to flight crews; notify crewmembers of random drug tests.
• Administer system travel; update and distribute revisions to FAA, Jeppesen, and ABX manuals.
• Transport flight bags from ILN to CVG bi-weekly and distribute to appropriate aircraft at CVG.
