Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam, a Global Medical Response company, is hiring a Flight Nurse to transport patients by air and perform on-scene call work. You will assess patients in critical care, support physicians’ orders, and ensure a safe aircraft environment with well-stocked equipment.

Requirements include RN license in applicable states, EMT, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, and CFRN within 24 months. Starting pay is $28.66/hour DOE. Join a team committed to high safety standards for crew and clients.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
• RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP provided during training).
• CFRN certification required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best course of action for critical care patients during transport.
• Use critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment and comply with safety standards.
• Collaborate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info and maintain documentation and records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the role.
