Job summary

Guardian Flight is hiring a Flight Nurse to join our air medical team. You will transport patients to and from medical facilities and perform scene call work, operating within high safety standards for crew and patients.

The position includes a 3 days on/6 days off rotation and company-paid crew housing while on shift. Starting annual pay is $92,000–$95,000 with a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments after training.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care RN experience.
• Current RN license in states served by the assigned area.
• EMT and Trauma certifications required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP required before flight status (NRP provided during training).
• CFRN required within 24 months from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best course of action for critical patients.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage adult or pediatric patients per orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment and perform base/equipment checks.
• Communicate effectively with air/ground teams, dispatch and facilities.
• Share shift information and ensure documentation/records are accurate.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the role.
