Job summary

Guardian Flight, Inc. is hiring a Flight Nurse to join our team of air transportation experts. You will transport patients to and from medical facilities, working with a professional team committed to high safety standards.

The role includes a 3 days on/6 days off rotation and company-paid crew housing while on shift. The position offers a starting range of $92,000–$95,000 annually plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus payable in two installments after training.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care experience as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification and Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP provided during training).
• CFRN required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Use critical thinking to manage the critically ill or injured patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment with regular equipment/base checks.
• Work with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change information and maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.
