Job summary

PHI Health in Jackson, MS seeks an experienced Flight Nurse to deliver advanced critical care during rapid response and inter-facility transports. You will apply flight nursing principles in the pre-hospital and airborne environments while maintaining rigorous safety standards.

The role requires an active RN license, 3+ years in critical care, and current certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS etc.). A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is offered and orientation is provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the employing state.
• Minimum 3 years critical care/emergency experience (5 preferred).
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNATC/TNCC/ITLS or PHTLS; NRP preferred.
• CFRN within 24 months of hire; flight/transport experience preferred.
• Complete PHI Air Medical education/orientation program.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive care in pre-hospital and transport settings.
• Perform complex assessments, diagnoses, therapies and emergency treatment.
• Document information for assessment, treatment and billing.
• Maintain communication with management and external customers.
• Participate in PR/marketing activities and ongoing training.
