Job summary

PHI Health is seeking Flight Nurses/Clinicians to join our elite team for fast-paced air medical transports. You will provide safe, comprehensive care in pre-hospital settings and during inter-facility transports, using flight nursing principles and protocols under medical direction.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, 3+ years critical care experience, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS/PALS with CFRN within 24 months.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state employed.
Minimum of three years (five years preferred) of current critical care/emergency experience.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS. NRP preferred. Instructor certifications preferred.
CFRN within twenty-four months of hire.
Flight or transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of specialized functions and complex assessments, diagnoses, therapies and emergency treatment of patients transported by rotor-wing and/or fixed wing and/or ground.
Document appropriate and accurate information for assessment and treatment during stabilization and transport.
Document accurate and complete billing information of patient transports.
Maintain effective communication between management, internal and external customers.
Participate in activities to support PR and marketing efforts.
Maintain knowledge base for flight nursing role through meetings, chart reviews, equipment reviews, skill labs, and continuing education.
