Job summary

DO & CO group in New York is seeking a Flight Checker - Food Packer to join our hospitality team. You will check, pack, and prepare meals for flights, ensure compliance with airline guidelines, and support airside operations with a strong emphasis on food safety and accuracy.

The role requires at least 1 year in a high-volume setting, adaptability to cold environments, and the ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a high-volume related role.
• Comfortable working in a very cold environment for 90% of the day.
• Proactive and well-organized with strong attention to detail.
• Able to manage substantial workload and meet strict deadlines.
• Able to work independently and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Check and pack food and goods according to airline specifications.
• Ensure meals are packed and checked according to airline guidelines.
• Assist in setting up trays, preparing and packaging food items.
• Conduct physical counts and pack additional equipment as needed.
• Report issues related to the food safety management system.
• Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Support airside operations under the Flight Coordinator.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
