Job summary

DO & CO AG is hiring a Food Packer in Des Plaines, IL. The role involves checking and packing meals per airline specifications, ensuring accurate meal counts, and packing galley equipment to airline standards.

Responsibilities include assembling trays, counting and packing extra equipment, and reporting food safety issues. Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays are required; competitive pay and benefits are offered.

• Ensure correct number of meals for each flight are ready, packed and assigned timely.
• Pack and check aircraft galley equipment to meet airline guidelines.
• Assist in setting up trays, preparing and packaging food.
• Conduct physical counts and pack additional equipment or products.
• Report problems with the food safety management system to the supervisor and comply with the hygiene team.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with airside operations under the direction of the flight coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for checking and packing of food and goods according to DO & CO and airline specifications.
• Ensures correct number of meals for each flight are ready, packed and assigned correctly in a timely manner.
• Packs and checks aircraft galley equipment to ensure all are adhering to airline guidelines.
• Assists in setting up trays, preparing and packaging food.
• Conducts physical counts and pack additional equipment or products.
• Reports problems with the food safety management system to the supervisor and the hygiene and food safety team and complies.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
• Assists with airside operations under the direction of the flight coordinator and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
