United Launch Alliance (ULA) is seeking a Production Operations Leader in Cape Canaveral to lead hourly groups in Launch Operations and oversee staffing, training, and performance metrics. You will work under the union agreement, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate across shifts.

Travel to other ULA sites will be required. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 6+ years of related experience, with strong project leadership, lean manufacturing knowledge, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree or higher; 6+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams and managing projects in launch or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and related methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to work 2nd shift, extended hours, and travel to other locations; DoD security clearance eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage various hourly groups in Launch Operations.
• Staffing, discipline, training, and weekly cost/schedule performance monitoring.
• Direct hourly employees and salaried staff in compliance with the CBA.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, and schedule of production hardware.
• Build high-performance teams and drive on-time product delivery.
• Willingness to work second shift and travel to other ULA locations.
