Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a skilled Flight Instructor to deliver high-quality pilot training across core, specialty, and enrichment courses. You will develop training materials, evaluate progress, and maintain thorough records to support client objectives.

The role requires an ATP or ICAO license, a valid PIC type rating, and compliance with regulatory training standards. Prior experience with DOT testing and exposure to advanced simulators is valued.

Qualifications

• Must have ATP certificate or ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License
• Willing to participate in DOT Drug and Alcohol testing
• Minimum one unrestricted PIC type rating
• Preferred: FAR Part 135/Part 121 experience or military training
• Preferred: 2,500 hours of total flight time

Responsibilities

• Conduct pilot ground and simulator training for core, specialty or enrichment courses.
• Develop and prepare training materials aligned with curriculum and client needs.
• Evaluate trainee progress and determine qualification or need for additional training.
• Complete accurate training records for each client to support objectives.
• Identify client training issues and escalate as needed before execution.
• Maintain instructor qualifications per regulatory requirements.
