Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Flight Instructor to deliver ground and simulator instruction in accordance with aviation regulations and FlightSafety training principles.

You will conduct training for clients across core, specialty or enrichment courses and develop materials to support effective delivery.

Candidates should have an ATP or ICAO ATP, be willing to undergo DOT drug testing, and maintain instructor qualifications; strong emphasis on safety and trainee progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: No requirement.
• Must be able to participate in FlightSafety's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program.
• An unrestricted ATP certificate, or an ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License.
• If no ATP, must meet 14 CFR Part 61.153 and 61.64 without SOE.
• A minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating.
• Preferred FAR Part 135/121 or military training experience.
• Preferred: 2,500 hours of total flight time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pilot ground and simulator training for clients receiving core, specialty or enrichment training courses.
• Develop and prepare training materials to meet client needs per curriculum.
• Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend qualification or additional training.
• Complete accurate training records for each client.
• Identify client training issues and seek assistance prior to execution.
• Maintain Instructor qualifications per regulatory requirements.
