Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience.
• Three years Critical Care/ICU or ED experience required; five years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Education – participates in identifying learning needs and attends education programs.
• Evaluation of care – participates in evaluating patient care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Implementation – provides care for patients with complex problems and prioritizes care.
• Leadership – supports professional growth and unit goals.
• Patient assessment – assesses data to determine priorities for care.
• Planning – collaborates with patient/family to plan care and identify cultural factors.
• Research – reads journals and brings ideas to the team.
