Job summary

Dcubed is seeking a Space Electronics / Harness Technician to fabricate, assemble, inspect, and rework high‑reliability spaceflight harnesses. You will build harnesses for spaceflight mechanisms and solar arrays, solder and crimp precisely, and verify with Hi-Pot tests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational electronics or aerospace cert is a plus.
• 3+ years in precision cable/harness fabrication and assembly in aerospace/high-reliability sectors.
• Certification in spaceflight electrical standards (NASA-STD-8739.4 / IPC/WHMA-A-620 Space Addendum) is preferred.
• Experience with miniature connectors (Micro-D, Nano-D, MIL-DTL-38999) and space-grade materials.
• Willingness to travel for training or integration (incl. potential travel to Munich, Germany).

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, route, and terminate high-reliability electrical harnesses and cables.
• Perform precise soldering, crimping, potting, shielding and routing per standards.
• Inspect raw wire, connectors, back shells, and components.
• Conduct electrical verification and Hi-Pot testing.
• Assist engineers in harness routing on flight structures and GSE.
• Set up harness fabrication shop and cleanroom workstation.
• Redline drawings, wire run lists, and SOPs for as-built configurations.
• Support rework and PCBAs as needed.
• Maintain ESD, FOD controls, and strict traceability.
