Job summary

Votaw Precision Technologies in California is seeking an experienced End-Item Flight Hardware Program Manager to lead large-scale aerospace and defense machined flight hardware projects. You will own cost, schedule, and technical performance, ensuring customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong background in flight hardware, ability to interpret complex drawings, and excellent communication across engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry, with a strong preference for experience in a job shop environment focused on build-to-print, custom fabrications, and large components/structures.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex 2D and 3D engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T; experience with CATIA, Autovue, and Enovia.
• Solid understanding of flight hardware processes and fundamentals; direct experience with details & sub-assemblies is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall financial performance of the program
• Review customer requirements technical compliance
• Identify deliverables and program schedule with milestones and design reviews
• Provide strategic guidance on day-to-day program issues
• Coordinate with Estimating, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance to ensure proper execution of cross-functional bid process
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Purchasing to ensure on-time delivery of parts
