Job summary

Astranis is offering a paid internship in the San Francisco Bay Area to a student pursuing a B.S. in electrical or computer engineering.

You will contribute to power electronics development, hardware bringup, and automated testing for satellite hardware, working closely with the power engineering team on hands-on design and lab validation. Responsibilities include building flight hardware, designing test equipment, debugging in the lab, and coordinating integration and environmental testing.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in electrical or computer engineering.
• Interest in learning about, designing, and working with power electronics systems.
• Passion for hardware development and hands-on design in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Work with the power engineering team to build and test flight hardware.
• Design test equipment to validate designs across stressed conditions.
• Bringup and debug designs in the lab.
• Write code to evaluate performance and automate testing of satellite hardware.
• Coordinate assembly, integration and environmental test efforts.
