Blue Origin is seeking a Flight Dynamics Software Engineer to build and operate microservices and data pipelines for the Flight Dynamics System (FDS). You will translate astrodynamics algorithms into production services and work with ATX and mission operations to keep Blue Ring vehicles on orbit.

You will design, test, and deploy software that supports orbit maintenance, collision avoidance, and flight dynamics product generation, while following safety and reliability standards and contributing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Full software lifecycle experience: design, implementation, verification, integration, release.
• Experience with build automation, CI, configuration management, verification and deployment.
• Familiarity with Linux environment and Linux administration.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, test, verify and deploy FDS microservices for orbit maintenance and collision avoidance.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to define software requirements and designs.
• Translate astrodynamics algorithms into production services.
• Develop rapid prototypes and quantify technical risks.
• Ensure software products meet safety-critical standards with infrastructure coordination.
• Produce user documentation for architecture, verification, and training.
