Job summary

Blue Line Aviation is seeking a full-time dispatcher at our Smithfield, NC location. The role focuses on flight dispatch per regulations, weather monitoring, and maintaining training and maintenance records.

You will coordinate hangar and flight line parking logistics and support in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have customer service and scheduling experience, aviation knowledge, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience.
• 1 year scheduling or planning experience.
• FAA certified pilot or strong aviation knowledge.
• Understanding of safety and risk management principles and procedures.
• High School Degree required – college degree in aviation preferred.
• Apple iOS.
• Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Customer focused mindset.
• Able to quickly assess and solve problems.

Job description

Started in 2012 by a husband-and-wife team, Blue Line Aviation is a professional pilot school currently located in at the Johnston Regional Airport in Smithfield, NC and Winter Haven Regional Airport in Winter Haven, FL. We strive to push the status quo in flight training while providing quality and innovative training to our students. We are seeking a full-time dispatcher for at our location in Smithfield, NC.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch flights per regulatory, risk management, and policy guidelines.
• Track dispatched flights, monitoring for weather, late flights, or unusual situations.
• Assist in maintaining training and maintenance records.
• Coordinating logistics of parking planes in hangars and the flight line.
• Other duties as assigned.
